Sabah Bhatnagar, co-deputy director of the Healthcare Value Hub, joined the Hub team in May 2018. Prior to joining Altarum, she was a Program Director for an advocacy organization focusing on rare disease patients. She has also worked at the Alliance for Health Policy (formerly Alliance for Health Reform), an organization dedicated to helping policymakers and the public better understand health policy and Washington Health Strategies Group, where she provided government affairs support to the Association of Clinical Research Organizations. Sabah holds a master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from American University.
Research Assistant (Community Voices for Health)
As co-deputy director of the Healthcare Value Hub, Amanda guides the Hub’s activities related to the ongoing monitoring of evidence, oversees the production of materials, and provides on-demand technical assistance to state-based consumer advocates working to create equitable, affordable, patient-centered health systems. Prior to joining the Hub in 2017, Amanda was a Health Policy Fellow at Missouri Foundation for Health and worked in a variety of departments within hospitals and health systems, including government relations, community benefit & outreach, and operations. She holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from Saint Louis University. An avid “collector” of new experiences, Amanda makes it a priority to learn something new and try something new each month. Ask her what she’s planning next!
Communications and Policy Analyst
Tad Lee is the communications leader for Altarum's Center for Value in Healthcare and Healthcare Value Hub. He is responsible for publication development, media strategy, website management, event coordination, social media strategy, and outreach to consumer advocates and others. He previously served communications management roles with Mathematica Policy Research, the National Institute for Healthcare Reform, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Governors’ Highway Safety Association. He began his career as a legislative aid on Capitol Hill.
