Why is a Hub needed?
With support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Consumers Union created the Healthcare Value Hub to help advocates address healthcare cost and value issues.
The Hub supports and connects consumer advocates across the U.S., providing comprehensive fact-based information to help them advocate for change. The Hub offers both online and hands-on support.
This website provides a road map to some of the key concepts and research findings to help advocates work on healthcare cost and value issues.
Our staff is dedicated to monitoring, translating and disseminating evidence, as well as connecting advocates, researchers and policymakers together to further conversations and action around the cost and value of healthcare.
While the primary audience for Hub materials is consumer advocates, media, bloggers, legislators and regulators will also find the materials useful.
